Thermador Disappoints
We purchased a Thermador microwave oven in 2011. We purchased it - despite the $700.00 price tag, because it is an appliance that we use every day.
One year later (January 2012) the oven began to turn itself off. We had to have the "panel" replaced and Thermador covered this cost.
Now, one year after that problem (Feb 2013)-- the same problem has reared it's ugly head again. The microwave is turning itself off and I'm not sure if it is actually heating. We contacted Thermador (BOSCH) and they are going to send a service technician to
1.) diagnose the problem 2.) review the diagnosis 3.) management will make a decision about covering the cost of the repair 4.) let us know if they will cover the cost 5.) let us know about their decision so that we can hire a repair service.
It's Friday -- so they will not be able to do any of this until next week. Go figure.
Although I appreciate their follow up -- I WILL NEVER PURCHASE ANOTHER THERMADOR/BOSCH...
