Spills everywhere, filter not fine enough
This teapot is quite expensive for something made of glass and stainless steel. You're paying for the design. While it looks nice, it's not very functional. The glass bowl rotates easily in the steel ring, and the lid rotates easily in the rim of the bowl. When these get even slightly out of alignment the tea spills. If you pour a little too fast, the tea spills. If you hold it at the wrong angle when you pour... you get the point. Looking at it funny makes the tea spill.
Additionally, the mesh filter is not nearly fine enough. I almost always drink whole-leaf tea that hasn't been cut up and processed like bagged tea. Any tea dust or particles that have broken off get through the filter. Forget about trying to steep cheaper CTC tea in it. A huge amount of dust and particulate matter gets through. I don't even bother using it anymore, but pour the tea through a fine conical mesh filter I've had for a long time.
