Works like it should! Minor things to watch for
Works well. Kind of loud but it may be common among the electrical pasta machines. One important thing the instruction manual failed to mentioned. In order to remove the paddle inside the kneader, after you twist the black knob to the correct position, the manual failed to mention you need to pull out the knob completely in order to remove the kneading paddle. Also, you can not follow the pasta recipe exactly. I tried to do that and the dough came out dry and crumbly. Try 400g with 5 large eggs first. And then add a little bit of flour if the dough is too wet. Use Marcato's recipes as guideline. What makes this pasta machine special is the longer 8" dough roller. Look up pasta making books to see the procedures involved in making pasta. The instruction from Marcato is not very detailed. The only thing that is accurate is to knead the dough for 5 minutes. Another minor issue is the cleaning process. The kneading machine compartment is not removable. Also the orange lid is not...
