Defective
I love the look of this table set. It goes great in my little house. I purchased this set from Cymax without problems. It was sent quickly and undamaged.
After I bought this set the top began to warp and there were small cracks visible in the table. I contacted Home Styles, the manufacturer, with my problem. The customer service person requested pictures but as soon as she saw them she immediately had the warehouse ship me a brand new top free of charge and told me to discard the old top.
HOWEVER, this new top is again warping. I contacted Home Styles customer service again, sent them pictures of the top and received a reply that it was due to lack of moisture in the air. Well, lack of moisture should NOT cause a table to warp like this. Then the customer service manager, who I requested to talk with, then said it was because there is TOO MUCH moisture in the air. I LIVE IN COLORADO! It is dry here! Besides, a well built table should not warp...tables are built...
