Great for bread
Cook's Illustrated magazine picked this as the top serrated knife in their comparison, despite the high cost. Sometimes, I disagree with their recommendations. But in this case, I have to agree that this is a really good knife for slicing bread. This slices through our home made (bread machine) bread with very little force, and doesn't have much problem dragging the bread out of shape. Definitely worth the cost for a great knife that we use about every day and will keep for many years.
