Fine Leather Tray

This leather tray is nice, sturdy, all you'd want in a leather tray. It is not particularly beautiful or elegant, and I'm not sure it's worth the price. Still, it is fine and does the job of holding my papers and work for the day, so I'm happy with it (this is what I use it for). I suppose that the leather is expensive, which is why it costs so much; it still seems like a lot (almost a hundred dollars) for such a simple item--maybe it's just me, but for a hundred dollars, I want to be really excited about it, want it to be stunning--which it is not. I think at half the price I would be much happier about it.

It is sewn rather than just glued down, which is nice. And it has a coarse fabric (like a coarse canvas) on the bottom so that it can be set on a fine piece of furniture or leather ottoman and not scratch it. All in all, a nice tray.
