not the most reliable scale
This is the second torrey Scale I have purchased in 2 years..The first one just wouldn't turn on one day..It sat in a retail store and was used gently for a year before this happened..I replaced the ribbon as was suggested by a Torrey tech..Cost $25.00..Did not fix problem..Purchased new mother board ( waiting for someone to install it 50.00) if this does not work, i wasted 75.00 fixing a scale that is only a year old and hardly used. I purchased another one as i had to have something. The problem is the tare..I place a jar on it, press tare..walk away, fill jar with honey or spices and when i attempt to put the price in, it freezes up..I have to turn it off to gte it to do anything, then i have lost my tare..SUPER ANNOYING..Costs me alot of $$$$$..i used these scales for years on a farm with no problems, which is why i tried another one after the first one gave me so many problems. Just another example of quality going down, while price goes up...The one year warranty is useless,...
