Works well for us.
Like the original poster, we live in our RV full-time. We chose this brand because we wanted a toilet that didn't depend on electricity to keep it from overflowing. The simpler, the better for us.
We also purchased and installed the solar vent shed. This is fine for summer in our climate, but not useful for winter or cloudy days. We recently had a rare sunny day here in the NE, and I did not hear the solar-powered vent running. This is a concern, because it is only a year old. We also installed a 12V van, wiring into the system and running the vent hose up the pipe for the (now unused) black tank. I'm unhappy about the solar vent, though, because $165 is too much to pay for solar technology that peters out after a few months.
