Great chair for big people
Bought this chair about 6 months ago, and am very happy with it. I bought a chair from another retailer, supposedly rated for 400 lbs. (I weigh 325), but they rate it for STATIC weight, meaning only sitting in one position, and not moving around, as you would do on any chair. That chair was mfd. in China, and in less than 2 weeks was broken. One or two bushings (low-grade metal) in the tilt/swivel mechanism had disintegrated with normal use. Returned the chair for replacement, and had the same problem. Also, the chair was too high for me (I am 6 ft. tall) and I couldn't put my feet flat on the floor.
I eventually ordered this chair, which looks a lot sturdier, and better designed, and am very happy with it so far. No signs of wear; not too tall; mesh back provides ventilation for cooling effect; adjustable arm height and width; nice adjustable headrest.
The only (small) issues I have are the seat cushion is too thin, so I must add extra cushions if I am going to sit...
