Sturdy and convenient; drainage hose useless
I bought this when I was living alone for laundry rather than for drying huge quantities of lettuce. Even so, it worked fine.
The only part about its design that bothers me, and would also be troublesome for it's intended purpose, was the tube at the bottom where water was supposed to drain out of. It was basically a small hole with a smaller plastic tube about 5cm long. Obviously it was intended that you point the tube into a sink or something and the water neatly squirts out of it down the drain. Unfortunately, the width of the tube was much smaller than that of the hole, completely nullifying the point of the tube, since most of the water would drain directly out of the hole around where the tube was. And the tube was so short it wouldn't have been useful anyway--it wasn't long enough to reach anything. So that was a complete waste.
I took out the tube (since it was useless and got in the way to boot) and plugged the hole with blu-tac when I was using it. I'm...
