Perfect hutch
I purchased this china hutch and buffet in black. It is shipped in three boxes, all quite heavy. Nothing is preassembled. Overall the piece is pretty simple to put together. Definitely need two people to move the buffet after assembly. Three or four might be nice if you try to move the whole thing (hutch and buffet) together.
Directions are clear and easy to follow. Drawer screws are quite difficult to insert fully.
The unit is beautiful, sturdy, and high quality. Each shelf in the hutch has a grove to display plates. The stemware rack is great for our crystal wine glasses. We flipped all the shelves in the base to make more storage space for serving dishes instead of having the wine racks.
My china is white and platinum and it looks fantastic in this unit.
