Nice quality but arrived broken
Overall, this table is good quality for the price. However, it arrived broken. The pedestal contains (2) 25lb concrete weights that are bolted to the bottom inside of the base board for stability. Both had been torn off, apparently from shipping. One weight was completely busted in pieces. The other was intact but flopping around as I moved the box. The slam of the weights breaking loose from the bolt caused a crack in the pedestal, which is composed of many slats of wood glued together like a barrel. The crack happened at one of the seams.
I removed the base, cleaned out all the broken concrete, re-bolted the remaining weight, and re-installed the base board. Otherwise, cosmetically, the table is fine. I chose to not file a claim and go through all hassle of re-boxing, calling for pick up, dealing with the return paperwork and then waiting for another table to arrive many weeks later. So, I turned the cracked side to the wall and kept it.
