Not as advertised
The product description stated that it was induction compatible. Induction cooktops create a magnetic field and therefor require cookware that are either magnetic stainless steel, cast iron, etc., or else they don't work. A quick test - if a magnet, such as a refrigerator magnet, sticks to the bottom of the cooking vessel, it will work with Induction cooktops.
I placed the magnet on the bottom of this pot when it arrived and it fell right off!. Too bad, it's a visually appealing design and would probably work great but not on my cooktop. This is why I only gave it 4 stars.
